Chapter I. Formatting

The first chapter is all about formatting. Formatting usually means such things as fonts, sizes, colors, styles and other text attributes.

We will discuss 'text fit' (font size and spacing), symbol case and Microsoft Word styles, errors in macro generator and bookmarks. We will touch regular expressions in Find and Replace operations, find and paint hyperlinks and much more.

Each etude results in Microsoft Word template, which contains some VBA macros and toolbar with some buttons.

The following table lists tasks and toolbars for each etude in this chapter.

how to create new module
how to create new toolbar and add some buttons to it

Usually we will start from functional specification (or just spec). This is simple and understandable description of the desired result. It is all about how the product should look like entirely from the user point of view.
